Sacred Heart Church is in the Town of La Plata, county seat of Charles County. La Plata is located approximately 25 miles south of the Capital Beltway at the intersection of MD 301 (Crain Highway) and MD 6 (Charles St.). From the intersection take MD 6 to the east approximately two tenths of a mile to St. Mary's Ave, directly across from the Charles County Court House. Turn right and go approximately two tenths of a mile to the Chruch on the right.
